Description

This course is a 10-hour introductory course to the fundamentals of Cybersecurity. This course will cover topics in security concepts, tools, and technologies. It will also cover common types of cyberattacks and our defenses against them.

Learning Outcomes

This course will develop the participant's ability to:

  • Understand the fundamentals of Cybersecurity.
  • Recognize common cybersecurity threats.
  • Highlight best practices in information technology security to mitigate risk.
  • Explore tools used in cybersecurity to identify risks and protect against attacks.
  • Identify common examples of cybersecurity attacks.
