Description

The purpose of this preparatory course is to provide participants with an operational knowledge of Canadian and International legislative requirements in order to satisfy compliance with pollution-prevention requirements, and to monitor compliance with legislative requirements including base IMO documents, The Canada Shipping Act 2001 (including CSA regulations), and the Canada Labor Code.

A preparatory course does not replace the official Transport Canada exams; rather, it supports your learning, helps you understand the required subject matter, and prepares you to meet Transport Canada’s standards and expectations.

Please note that the official certification examination must still be written directly with Transport Canada.
