This course is designed for bridge officers and provides practical experiences in the handling of vessels in offshore operations. The course will provide theory and simulator experience covering offshore ship maneuvering.

Learning Outcomes

This course allows participants:
  • The knowledge and skills in planning and risk assessment of offshore ship maneuvering specific to vessels equipped with azimuthing propulsion
  • Practical experience in maneuvering vessels with azimuthing propulsion during machinery failures and changing environmental conditions
  • Experience in planning and executing offshore operations
  • Practice teamwork and communication skills
